Water Sports

From kitesurfing lessons to parasailing high above the bay, there are water sports in Nabq Bay for every member of the group. Here’s what you can do right from our beach at Coral Sea Water World, whether you’re a rider, a beginner, or just here for the fun.

Learn With The Kite Bubble

These are the sports we teach ourselves, with our IKO certified instructors on the flat, shallow lagoon of Nabq Bay:

  • Kitesurfing: from your very first lesson to advanced coaching and instructor courses. See our kitesurfing lessons.
  • Windsurfing: a great alternative on lighter-wind days, or a new skill to add to your holiday.
  • Wing surfing: the newest wind sport, easy to pick up and lots of fun on our flat water.
  • Equipment rental: already a rider? Rent North kites and boards and head straight out.

More Water Sports With Our Neighbours

For family and friends who’d rather try something different, our neighbours at Aquarius Red Sea run a full range of water activities from the same beach:

  • Parasailing: single or double, for a bird’s-eye view of the bay and Tiran Island
  • Banana boat and tube rides: fast, splashy fun for groups and families
  • Speed boat trips: an hour along the coast, for up to six people
  • Glass-bottom boat and semi-submarine: see the coral reefs without getting wet
  • Kayak, pedalo and stand-up paddle: explore the bay at your own pace
  • Diving and snorkelling: explore the famous Red Sea reefs, from easy snorkelling trips to dives at sites like Ras Mohammed

These activities are run and booked directly by Aquarius Red Sea. Ask us on the beach and we’ll point you the right way.

A Day for Everyone

That’s what makes Nabq Bay special for groups: kiters ride in the morning wind while the rest of the family parasails, snorkels or tries the banana boat, and everyone meets for lunch on the beach. For more ideas off the water, see our guide to things to do in Sharm El Sheikh.
