A Kiteboarding Beginner’s journey according to the International Kiteboarding organization consists respectively of Discovery, Intermediate, Independent.
After that you can continue your progression with Level 4 and 5, Advanced and Evolution.

Discovery course

Your IKO kiteboarding Instructor will introduce you to various aspects of the sport. This will make you master the various skills. You will learn to keep safe by showing you how to assess the wind and the physical location.

Intermediate course

Learn how to harness the power of your kite in water. Get ready to explore the full potential of the wind power. You’ll get to use the kite power to body drag in all possible directions. You will learn how to water relaunch your kite, self rescue, recover your board. With those skills you will become proficient at the MOST VALUABLE SKILL IN KITEBOARDING, riding on your own!

Independent course

The more you learn the most pleasure you will have. It’s time to become an independent rider! We will show you how to ride upwind, toe-side, attempt your first jump, focus on advanced skills like controlling your speed by edging, changing direction without stopping. Add to that the skills you need on your own like self-launching and self-landing safely.

As an independent rider, you can ride on your own and rent equipment wherever you go.

6 hours for the Discovery + Intermediate courses!
12 hours Discovery + Intermediate + Independent courses in!
