Surfing is a surface water sport in which an individual, a surfer, uses a board to ride on the forward section, or face, of a moving wave of water, which usually carries the surfer towards the shore.

Kitesurfing is one of the only sports around where you can jump several meters up into the air whenever you want. Wikipedia says that there are about 1.5 million kitesurfers in the world, but that number is old, and there is probably several millions of kitesurfers out there.
