The group kitesurfing course is the fun, social way to learn, perfect for couples, friends and families. In small groups of just 2 or 3 students, you’ll go from your first kite to riding on your own, through all three IKO levels, on the flat, shallow lagoon of Nabq Bay.
Three IKO Levels in One Course
- Discovery: read the wind, fly a kite safely and use the safety systems.
- Intermediate: body drag, relaunch your kite and stand up on the board.
- Independent: ride in both directions, stay upwind and learn self-rescue.

Learning together is motivating: you cheer each other on, learn from each other’s mistakes, and share the excitement of your first rides. With a maximum of 3 students per instructor, everyone still gets plenty of personal attention and time on the kite.
Course Details
- Group size: 2 to 3 students per IKO certified instructor.
- Duration: 12 hours in total, usually spread over 4 to 6 days.
- Everything included: kite, board, harness, wetsuit, helmet and impact vest.
- IKO certification: your level is recorded in the IKO system, and you receive your IKO card, recognized at kite centers worldwide.
- Better value than booking each level separately.
